Here I am doing a colored acrylic full set with an encapsulated ombré with hearts nail, vertical ombré glitter nail, a marble nail with an encapsulated glitter backing and a color blocking nail. 💅🏾
On this set, I started filming as I was etching the plastic tips with my carbide bit. I went on to size her for tips and apply the tips with nail glue. I blended the tips and clipped the sides for a narrow coffin shape. I ended with dehydrating and priming the nails.
I applied the pink acrylics in an ombré fashion and the iridescent hearts to the respective nail. I then applied a pink, purple, and iridescent glitter atop a bright red acrylic. Next, I ombré-d an iridescent glitter and pink shimmer acrylic in a vertical pattern. Lastly, I used an X-Acto knife to produce a color blocking technique with three different colored acrylics. To finish application, I capped all the nails in clear acrylic. I went on to even out my acrylic with both a nail file and a medium grit carbide bit. I reshaped and sharpened the side of nails into a long, slender stiletto shape. After the filing and shaping was done, I went over the clear nails with a medium grit bit to make the clarity of higher quality. I then buffed and proceeded to draw the marble design. Lastly, I applied a high-shine gel topcoat to finish this set.
