These 8 Makeup Products Stay Put Through an 80-Degree Festival Weekend

The hunt for a good foundation stopped the moment Revlon’s Photoready Candid Foundation came into my life. I have dry skin with lots of acne scarring and just one pump of the foundation covered it all up. When I tell you this foundation lasted all day, I really mean it. I slathered my face in it around 11:30AM on day three of Lollapalooza and it stayed put while I stood under the hot sun as I caught the last 30 minutes of 6lack’s performance, worked up a sweat dancing to Lil Wayne’s hour-long set, and powered through post-festival drinks. I returned to my room art 10:35 PM with a healthy glow that I didn’t want to remove.

Of course standing, power-walking, and running from stage to stage in 80-degree weather requires a powerful dose of sunscreen. I have to thank my mother for introducing me to this gem from Specific Beauty. I can’t remember when I first purchased this eyeliner but I never want to live in a world without it. My lids get really oily and a liquid liner that lasts through my oily lids and an entire festival is a lot of responsibility to bear but L’Oréal’s Infallible liner said “challenge accepted.” 

I looked like a sunkissed goddess all weekend long at Lollapalooza and it’s all thanks to Fenty Beauty’s bronzer. I flew in the morning of Lollapalooza Day 2 and brushing this bronzer across my cheeks and across my forehead made me look awake and gave me a post-vacation glow. 

I’m not the most trusting when it comes to setting powders because I’ve been burned in the past. But Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake powder helped me get over my trust issues. This setting powder is basically a blur filter IRL, finely milled so it melts into the skin and extremely mattifying.
