New York Ayurveda is a spa that offers Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old holistic medicine tradition from India. Nisha Saini was introduced to the practice at a young age, when her father saw an Ayurveda practitioner to treat her almost bald head. With a head full of hair, Saini now offers the treatment to customers in three phases:
1. Shirodhara involves a facial massage with sesame oil
2. Kati Basti relieves lower back pain with clay and medicated oils
3. Netra Basti moisturizes dry eyes with clarified butter
