If you’ve never watched the mesmerizing and impressive ice dance duo, Oona and Gage Brown, you’re in for a treat. What’s even more amazing than their fluid, acrobatic, and in-sync skating is that they are brother and sister (insert “awww” here). Oona, 16, and Gage, 18, are part of the junior ice dance team for the US. Prepare to be blown away by this ice dance to Metallica and Marlisa’s “Nothing Else Matters,” which feels both somber and uplifting.
This routine was filmed at Bryant Park’s Winter Village ice rink in the early morning over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we can practically feel the wind whipping by our faces as the amazing camerawork makes it seem like we’re skating right next to them. We love seeing the passion for skating in their faces, and the impressive skills they display.
